Heroes of the City Review and Giveaway

Recently we have been reviewing Heroes of the City. We have been watching the DVD, reading the book, and playing with the toys.

The Heroes of the City DVD is colourful and bright sending out a positive message to our little ones. It’s about really cute vehicles which when things go wrong, work together to be a hero, all in a little city.

Heroes of the City is a television cartoon about rescue vehicles in a small town where everyone can be a hero!
Follow the fantastically exciting adventures along with friends in town.  Meet Paulie Police Car and Fiona Fire Engine as they help the townspeople find thieves, put out fires, and solve one of the many mysteries that happen in the otherwise quiet town. You will also get to know Calamity Crow, the most unlucky bird in town.
Emphasizing friendship, Heroes of the City contains a great deal of warmth and what may be accomplished by helping each other.

It is aimed at 3-7 year olds and is gender neutral. Even though Molly is under the aimed age range, she still enjoyed the characters and happily watched the story. Personally I really liked the theme tune and it got stuck in my head!!!

There is also an App too aimed at those ages 2-6.

The book matches the DVD and is again full of bright colours, which made Molly enjoy looking through the large pages on her own.

Molly’s favourite items were the toys though. Since we were sent them they have been very well played with! They are the perfect size for little hands and she likes to carry them around (it’s always nice to see her with something other than a spoon!).

This photo below is blurry because Molly wouldn’t sit still with them, she just had to play!!
