Heroes of the City #2 Review and Giveaway

Last year we were lucky enough to review a Heroes of the city set, including book, DVD, and toys, you can find this post here: Heroes of the City Review.

Now we have been given the opportunity to play with and watch their new material.

Molly was sent a new DVD, t-shirt, toy and ball to test out.

Literally as soon as the package came, she HAD to have the toy! We receive Paulie Police car. I love these figures as they are really sturdy and chunky for little hands. As far as toy cars go, these are probably the best ones on the market in my opinion. You do not get that cheap plastic feel as they are made from metal and are very durable to survive any ‘crashes’.

Molly has actually become pretty attached to the police car and enjoys carrying it around and getting it involved in her other games too. When I showed her the t-shirt she had been sent, which has a picture of Paulie police car on, she was so excited! Running around shouting “My car! My car!” as she pointed to the t-shirt with one hand and holding the figure in the other!

The ball is useful to take to the beach or keep in the car in case you stop at the park as it is a blow up kind, very colourful, with the characters printed on too. We played football around our kitchen with it as Molly got upset when I tried to put it in the garden!

There is a wonderful message behind Heroes of the City, promoting that anybody can be a hero and the benefits of team work. From watching the DVD, which is capturing in it’s own right with catchy songs, bright colours, and interesting characters, important messages are being shown to children. Some of the morals being advertised were not to take things without asking, always look where you are going, how to work together, it’s wrong to lie, and how to put things right if you make a mistake. There is lots to take in and lots to learn!

We are holding a giveaway so you can win yourself a toy figure, a ball, a t-shirt, and a DVD just like ours and experience the fun with Paulie police car and all the other vehicles of Heroes of the City. Simply enter below by clicking on the Rafflecopter link:
